Ai technology is a digital security and analytics company focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Its logo and the logo of its parent company, Qihoo 360, are the most recognizable icons on its website, and it has also been used to promote itself on Twitter, Facebook and other social media.
The company was founded in 2009 by Qihoon Wei and Zhenyu Li, two Chinese engineers who had studied computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Wei and Li founded a company called AI-tech, which was incorporated in April 2013, and its logo is an abstracted circle with a small dot in the center.
Li and Wei had been interested in artificial intelligence for years, according to their LinkedIn profile, and they worked on a project called AIQI, which would help them develop artificial intelligence algorithms to help AI search for and find information on the Internet.
Their AIQIs were used to train machine-learning algorithms on a large dataset of tweets from hundreds of millions of people.
In August 2017, a year after the launch of AIQP, the two men were indicted on charges related to money laundering and hacking, respectively, and the company was forced to lay off the remaining employees, according a LinkedIn post by Wei in June 2018.
Li was sentenced to a year in prison in June 2019, and Wei to five years in prison, according the post.
Both men remain in China, where they have not been seen since June 2020.
The indictment was sealed on Thursday by the U.S. Department of Justice.
According to court documents, Wei and LI have cooperated with authorities in a number of ways.
They have filed multiple lawsuits in the U, with the most recent filing last week.
In November 2018, they were ordered to pay $5.8 million in back wages to workers at the company that had been laid off.
They also received back pay for employees at a nearby Chinese manufacturing company, according an order filed by the government.
In September 2018, a jury found Li guilty of conspiracy to commit money laundering, tax evasion and other offenses related to his company.
The case was dismissed in February 2019.
Li’s defense attorney, Mark Filippi, told CNN he was not surprised by the news of his client’s arrest.
“I’ve known Qiho for a long time, and I’m sure they’re well aware that the Chinese government has a history of prosecuting and imprisoning people who have been very outspoken in supporting human rights and criticizing the government,” he said.
“Qihoo is a very successful company, and people know that.”
Filippi said that he is confident that the case against Wei and his co-defendants will be resolved, adding that he will fight the charges.
He said that while it is possible that Li and his colleagues could be prosecuted for other crimes, the Chinese authorities have not shown a willingness to make an example of him.
“It would be great if we could find some kind of justice for this case, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be the case,” Filippisaid.
“This case will not go away, but I’m confident it will be eventually resolved.”
