Delphi Technologies, the parent company of Delphi Automotive, has acquired Delphi Imaging Technologies, a technology firm that makes sensors for the company’s Delphi Engine vehicles.
The deal was first reported by Recode.
The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019.
The acquisition will be Delphi’s second in recent months.
In May, it purchased the company for $1.4 billion.
It said at the time that it would use the money to invest in “innovative technology, products, and services.”
Delphi Automobiles said in a statement that it “will continue to leverage its vast experience in automotive technology to advance our vision of driving for the future.”
