Agilent Technologies, one of the leading security software companies, has developed a new method of targeting people with malicious software that it hopes will be cheaper, easier and more effective.
The company, which also has a technology connection with US security firm Rackspace, has published an article in its latest quarterly report on its technology platform, which has been in development since 2015.
It aims to reduce the cost of cybercriminals and their sophisticated attacks by 20 percent in the next three years.
Agilent also says it is working on an open-source application that will allow businesses to identify people in their networks with malicious intent, potentially disrupting the criminal activity.
The security software company said the new software will be available as a free download, for businesses and consumers to use to protect their networks.
The technology has been designed for the following scenarios:The new software is a part of a new suite of products by the cybersecurity software giant, which includes a new security appliance for Windows that is built specifically to block malware, and an extension to the Agilen suite of anti-malware products for mobile devices.
